“Faux fur fun.”

The Color-Blocked Faux Fur Scarf is a fun, updated nod to gorgeous, vintage accessories. Worked widthwise or lengthwise, change colors halfway through for two different looks. Generously sized and with two options for furry color-block orientation, this scarf can be styled in a variety of ways! Plus, it’s warm and cuddly to boot.

We knit these two scarves in Sirdar —a bulky-weight yarn that’s akin to a fringed ribbon crafted entirely in polyester. Superbly soft and supremely pettable, Alpine is also machine-washable—perfect for these retro-inspired faux fur scarves!

FINISHED SIZE
Approx. 6 x 72" /15 x 183cm, after blocking.

YARN
4 skeins (36 yds/33m each): 2 each in Color A and Color B.
Or approx. 72 yds/66m of an equivalent chunky-weight fur yarn in each of 2 colors.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS
US 15 (10mm) needles, or size to obtain gauge.
Locking marker.
Blunt darning needle to finish.

GAUGE
Approx. 8 1/2 sts = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
